By accessing or using vanpubstops.com ("the Site") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
VanPubStops is a community directory that helps van and motorhome travellers find pubs in the UK and Ireland that may offer stopovers. Listings are user-submitted and community-sourced. We do not own or operate the venues listed.
The Site and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, complete, current, verified, safe, legal, still trading, or that any pub will actually permit you to park, stay overnight, or provide any facility. Stopover permission, EHU availability, opening hours, prices, menus, reviews and photos may be out of date or wrong.
You must always confirm directly with the venue before travelling or staying. Overnight parking on private land is at the sole discretion of the landowner. You are solely responsible for complying with local laws, road traffic regulations, licensing rules and site rules.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VanPubStops, its owners, operators, contributors and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, vehicles or personal property, or any personal injury, arising out of or in connection with:
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 to hold an account. We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these Terms.
Business accounts may claim or add listings and pay a subscription (Bronze, Silver, Premium). Payments are handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew annually unless cancelled. Refunds are at our discretion and are not guaranteed. Feature availability by tier may change with reasonable notice.
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, reviews, listing details). By submitting content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, distribute and adapt it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Site. You warrant you have the right to submit the content and that it is lawful, accurate and not defamatory. We may remove any content at our sole discretion.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may hide, edit or remove reviews and reports that appear abusive, fake, defamatory, or that breach these Terms. Verified business owners may moderate reviews on their claimed listing.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VanPubStops, its owners and operators from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
The Site uses OpenStreetMap for map tiles, Nominatim for geocoding, OSRM for routing, and Stripe for payments. Their use is subject to their own terms.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
